Makayla Wiegand, MFT-IT

pronouns: she/her/hers

I believe healing happens through connection — to ourselves, to our relationships, and to the systems we are part of.

I strive to create a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients of all ages feel seen, heard, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges.

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and deeply tailored to each client’s unique needs.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and family systems work. With children, I incorporate developmentally appropriate approaches such as Play Therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to support emotional growth and healthy connection.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. I welcome you to reach out so we can begin exploring your goals together and move toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
