I am a strengths-based Advanced Practice Social Worker with a passion for working with people who are struggling with mental health symptoms, challenging life situations, or are going through major life transitions.

I am particularly interested in the transition to parenthood: through pregnancy, birth, life with a newborn, and the struggles associated with parenting young children, sibling rivalry, and co-parenting. I welcome parents at all ages and stages!

Becoming a parent, as well as other life transitions and traumatic events, can cause you to feel overwhelmed, isolated, frustrated, filled with anger, shame, worry, sadness, and/or doubt. Life feels flipped upside-down and you hardly recognize yourself, your body, thoughts, moods, or behaviors, and your lived experiences do not match what you anticipated. You are not alone in your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I believe you are a good person having a hard time. You are brave and resilient.
