Hollie McCrea Olson, MFT-IT

HEART Counseling is excited to welcome Hollie McCrea Olson, MFT-IT at the end of January 2025!

I believe everyone is worthy of being listened to, of being heard, and of healing. No matter what brings you to therapy, it is my hope that you find a soft place to land and a partner in identifying and reaching your personal wellbeing goals.

My training as a Marriage and Family Therapist equipped me with the lens of understanding that everything we experience is connected. From our personal relationships with immediate family and friends, to our work, and our many identities, to macro systems that affect us all, each of these systems can impact how we experience the world around us and our responses to it. Examining these systems can help inform how to make the holistic changes that support your healing and growth.

I have a collaborative, holistic, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach to therapy.

While I strive to continue honing my practice and am open to new modalities, I most often utilize approaches informed by emotionally-focused, narrative, rational emotive behavior, and cognitive behavioral therapies as well as parts work.

Additionally, I often incorporate mindfulness and somatic exercises into sessions to support clients with regulation and grounding techniques that can be readily utilized outside of session.
